Markel Background Check

At this point in the recruiting process, you have been asked to complete a Markel background check application. Please return the application and acknowledgement back to the requester as soon as possible.

Step 1: Complete the background check release, download, print, and sign (original signature required), scan, and return via email to the requester.

Background check information: The following documents contain a legal explanation of your consumer rights and should be reviewed. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation’s consumer protection agency, enforces the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), a law that protects the privacy and accuracy of the information in your credit report. The FCRA spells out your rights as a job applicant and an employer’s responsibilities when using credit reports and other background information to assess your application.
